Schijnzelfstandigheid Check
My own product: a self-service scan for false self-employment risk under the Dutch Wet DBA, with a paid PDF report. Built end to end: risk logic, web app, iDEAL payments, and deploy.
Sranan Master Journey
A free, offline-first mobile app for learning Sranan Tongo: Duolingo-style lessons with XP, streaks, audio, and a friendly mascot. Built in Flutter, with local progress that survives every restart.
Time-tracking & admin automation
An automation that logs working time and pulls a whole studio’s admin into one live dashboard: hours, invoices, and VAT, updated automatically. Accurate enough to run a business on, and ready to adapt for anyone who works at a computer.

Custom applications for Android and web, built with Flutter, to digitise your processes: an inspection app, inventory, time tracking, or an internal dashboard. We start with a short intake to pin down scope and features, so the quote matches what you actually need.

Cove Innovation is me, Rico Daniel Oost.
A one-person software studio in Wieringerwerf, Noord-Holland, building websites, apps, and automations for small businesses that want something considered, not templated.
The name comes from the idea of a sheltered cove: a calm, protected harbour. That's what I try to be for the people I work with: a place where your problem gets solved properly, without the noise, risk, or overhead of a big agency.
You deal with me directly, from the first call to launch and beyond. That's the whole point.

How much will my project cost?
It depends on scope, but you'll always get a fixed quote before any work starts. See the pricing section for starting points. No hourly surprises.
How long does it take?
Small sites and automations often land within 1–3 weeks; larger apps take longer. You get a realistic timeline as part of the quote.
Do you offer maintenance and support?
Yes. I don't disappear at launch. I offer ongoing support and can keep maintaining what I build.
Do you work with clients outside the Netherlands?
Yes. I work with clients across the Netherlands and internationally, in English or Dutch.
Will you sign an NDA?
Happy to. Your ideas and your data stay confidential.
